I know the feeling,I've just discovered a piece of one of my cameras fell off.It won't effect the operation which is just as well as its tiny so there bugger all chance of finding it.
Might be a good idea to get a cheaper mp3 player next time so it won't hurt as much if it goes missing.Hope it turns up.

Hmm, whenever I lose something, I've found that if I don't find it immediately, then complain about not finding it... it reappears. Sometimes in the most obvious places that have me beating my head against a wall. So I'm sure they'll turn up somewhere soon. :)

I have a NY apartment and my suggestion is to look in the pantry or cabinet. I found my car keys in the pantry once. LOL
