I really like your John: awkward and uncomfortable but still wanting to help. I like how you dealt with the reveal, how he sort of figures it out for himself. It was quite subtle, I had to go back over it to make sure I wasn't just reading too far into it.
I've liked baby-fic in the past, but the fact that the SGA fandom so often takes such a fluffy attitude to pregnancy really grates sometimes. It's nice to see the flip side dealt with matter-of-factly and without dropping into too much drama. Kudos.
