I like that they weren't together, either. It fits in with my personal interpretation of canon.

And thanks for the vote of confidence in my fic! (even though it's sight unseen for now) The plot bunnies are biting me hard right now, and it's all I can do to keep them at bay with an outline in one window while I work on the smuttage in another window... :D
