Multiple Choice Fanfiction Rants

I was pestering talking to lanna_kitty at work and she sent me to the wider world of journal.


Today I have three complaints about fanfiction. So I present them to you in a multiple choice test.

Fanfiction thoughts for today:

A) If I do a small bit of research on wikipedia about anatomy, readers think I'm amazing and are surprised.

B) Why writing primarily functional pairings makes me less talented of a writer than you.

C) How your one sentence comment on my 8 chapter story means I am obligated to read your 48 part WIP.

D) How 600 words constitutes an entire chapter.

D.) That is a big annoyance of mine, too. I barely consider that fic, much less something smaller like a chapter of a fic.

*looks around sneakily* and what am I supposed to say? great work! you've started something that could be a story and you want credit for writing something 10 times longer?
